Join us for an intimate guided meditation in the gallery, amongst the artwork.
Exhibiting artist Bridget Currie will lead participants through a mediation, involving elements of storytelling, poetry and breathing exercises as a group.
The tactile tour will allow audiences to interact with selected sculptural works from Message from the meadow. Led by Bridget Currie, you will have the opportunity to hold, touch and explore the works in a hands on way.
Message from the meadow is an immersive, meditative exploration of how artworks can trigger sensory affect. Bridget will lead a small group through a guided meditation involving story-telling and breathing exercises along with a tactile tour of the exhibition.
This is an intimate spoken guided meditation and a tactile exploration of selected artworks. Please note that the tactile engagement with the work is artist-led by Bridget Currie and is not led by a professionally trained tactile tour guide.
You can move around or take breaks as you need to.
You can choose to sit, stand or lay down during the meditation.
