Held for ACE friends old and new, it’s a warm-hearted party open to all – we’ll see you there!

Dazzle Mountain Miniature Golf Adventure Park‘, Dominique Keeley (SA)
Artist Dominique Keeley transforms the Lion Arts Centre Courtyard into a playable installation in Dazzle Mountain Miniature Golf Adventure Park. Paying homage to some of South Australia’s greatest (and long-lost) summer hang-out spots Keeley, together with artists Henry Jock Walker and JEM (Lauren Albineri), channel childhood nostalgia, summer holidays, small town boredom and carnival culture with tongues planted firmly in their cheeks.

Dominique Keeley is an Adelaide-based multidisciplinary artist and curator whose practice spans painting, sculptural assemblage and installation with an emphasis on interaction, identity and the broad philosophy of kitsch. She is a graduate of the Adelaide Central School of Art and a former Director of Format Collective, where she presented her Brickworks Market installation in 2016.

An intimate collection of some of Adelaide’s finest makers showcase their wares at our first Makers Market: the perfect place to pick up a gift for yourself or others, while supporting local artisans. 5pm—Thomas Capogreco and Rohan Goldsmith
In celebration of the closing of Tara O’Conal’s Filter, the artist has invited Adelaide musicians Thomas Capogreco and Rohan Goldsmith to create an improvised sound performance in response to her work, using acoustic percussive elements along with modular synth sounds.

6pm—The Kasey Chambers Experience
As part of Dazzle Mountain Miniature Golf Adventure Park, a selection of Adelaide’s premier amateur drag queens take on Kasey Chambers’ biggest hits in a playful subversion of Australiana classics. Get ready to see some True Colours shine through.
