ACE Open is located in Adelaide’s Lion Arts Centre, in the west end of the city. You can find us by entering the Lion Arts Centre precinct from either North Terrace or Morphett Street.

The galleries are open 11am-4pm Tue-Sat during exhibition dates. The office is staffed 10am-5pm Mon-Fri.

How much

ACE Open is free to visit!

Occasionally we run ticketed programs and events – you can find more information about these and how to buy tickets on this website.

Getting here

By car: There is a limited amount of ticketed on-street parking in the area, with an accessible car parking bay located at the Lion Arts Centre’s Morphett Street entrance. There are multiple commerical carparks located on Hindley Street, to both the east and west of our location.

By tram: We’re a 70m walk away from the City West tram stop on North Terrace. (And remember, the tram is free between the Entertainment Centre and South Terrace!)

By bus: The closest bus stop is X1 North Terrace, and we are a short walk away from various Grenfell Street bus stops.

By bike: There is bicycle parking on Morphett Street at the precinct entrance, just in front of our neighbours JamFactory and Mercury Cinema.

Can I take photos?

Unless an exhibition is otherwise signed, yes – you’re most welcome to! If you’re sharing images online be sure to tag us so we can enjoy them too.

ACE Open and ACE Across are wheelchair accessible. Find more information about access at ACE Open
